Villamartin is situated midway between Torrevieja in the north and Cartegena in the south.  It is 35 minutes drive away from La Manga, Mar Menor and Murcia.

It is served by two airports - Alicante and Murcia.  Villamartin is connected to both airports by a direct motorway (AP7).  Alicante is 40 minutes drive and Murcia less than 15 minutes away.

There are kilometres of white sandy beaches that stretch from Guadamar to Pilar del Horadada.  Some are busy and some secluded.  Some have bustling beach bars others have nothing at all.  What is guaranteed is that there is a beach within a short drive to suit you.

For night life you will be spoilt for choice.  Torrevieja is a lively, clean, town which is busy in summer.  With a superb open market, it is ideal for an evening stroll along the sea front taking in an ice cream or enjoying a drink and people watching.  If you don't want to drive, then stroll down to Los Dolses.  There are restaurants to suit all tastes.  There are lively bars and places to sit and have a quiet drink.  Then there is Villamartin Plaza which is a very short car drive (or taxi) away.  Here you will not fail to be entertained as it becomes the focal point for many when the sun goes down.

This is a golfers paradise.  Boasting two championship courses, the villa is located at the hub of five courses within easy reach.  Three of them Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Real Campoamor are on the doorstep.  La Finca (pictured) and La Marquesa are 15 minutes away.  After that there are more courses within 30 minutes drive including the internationally recognised tournament professionals qualifying courses of La Manga.
